Makita - Hedge Trimmer - UH5550
Hi
I am thinking of purchasing one of these hedge trimmers.
Any views on the product or where I can get the best price would be very much appreciated.
I have quite a large garden and the hedge is made up of various bushes some of which are thorn bushes.
Would this do the job?
Thanks
Pam

About 2 weeks ago my dad bought me a Bosh AHS 52 Accu hedge trimmer.

It comes with 2 batteries and so far I have been really impressed with it. Each battery lasts over an hour and it has cut through some pretty tough hedging (all native hedge plants) that had not been done for 12 months.

I've got three sides of my garden hedged and I think each side must be 100 feet long. Dad thought that battery would be better than electic given the distance from the house (and safety) plus he thought the petrol ones might be too heavy for me for prolonged use.
