Hi Guys
Received a letter from barclays today, to cut an extremely jargon ridden, long winded letter short, theyve said theyll send me copies of all my statements within the next couple of weeks, free of charge (they returned my chque, woo hoo!) on this occasion (cheeky sods!).
Initially, i found the letter quite intimidating (OH said they were trying to put me off) as it was 'not obliged this' and 'your request for a schedule of charges is turned aside' but i shall wait for my statements, go through them with a marker pen ( think of the money!) and get that 2nd letter sent off!
I'll show them!

I am trying to clain charges fron Yorkshire bank. Sent letter over 2 week agao asking for statements. Got a phone call from branch 10 days ago saying there were not enough funds in account to clear 10 pound cheque. I put the funds in but hav not heard anything as yet. Is there a time limit on this bit or does that come in latre on.
Also would like to clain charges frm OH's credit cards (2xmbna citi and Mint) but he has balances in these will they demand full payment on these if we start to claim?0 -
:T Well done for starting the ball rolling. I got mine paid out from Halifax relatively easily for the return I got so cannot comment on how barclays work on this.
No matter what delay tactics they may send you or fancy letters saying that they have done nothing wrong, just remember Don't get disheartened by them. You have nothing to lose, but everyting to gain.
Hope it runs smoothly for you.0
