I'm on SMP and being charged for transport to work

Hello,
My question is related to Statutory Maternity Pay.
I've been working for my employment agency for over 5 years and actually I receive SMP.
The problem is that the agency is still deducting money for transport to and from work, while I'm staying at home. The Agency explaining the fact that they reserve a place for me in case if I want to go back to work. It is obviously that the next 11 months I'll be on maternity leave. It is £20 per week so it will be over £1,000 a year. Does the agency have the right to do so.
Thank you for your answers

Do you have the option in your contract for the transportation to give it up without notice? Of course, as they say, this is also reserving a spot on the transportation for you should you return to work. How would you get to work if you gave up the spot and then when returning to work the same transportation was not available to you?0
