Help please, I can't understand my OWL monitor
Hi, I've just got an Owl electricity monitor and set the tarriff to 10p per unit which is roughly what is on my bill but the cost reading as I look at it now with nothing much on is 3.381 pence per hour!
This can't be right?
The washing machine isn't even on!
Is it my interpretation of the figure or something?
Is that £3.38 per hour?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think 3.381 pence per hour sounds right.
That would be approx. 8 units per day. We use 70-80 units a week in Summer. Thats for four adults one child, cold fill (electric) washer(x14) and dishwasher(x7) No ironing;) or tumble drier and gas cooker and showers(x30).
Our consumption varies per adult, when one is away for a week it goes down by 15-20 units.0
