o2 Homephone with Broadband

I know you can only have homephone with broadband on o2, but what happens after a years time when you want to change or cancel o2 Broadband but keep o2 homephone?
I used to have o2 Broadband standard at £12.50/month then after a year I found Be broadband were cheaper and o2 offered me £7.50/month when I tried to leave (still expensive than Be's offer at that time), but I am not an o2 mobile customer and felt I'd stay to remove the hassle. In a year's time I'll probably have to threaten to leave to keep that price again.
So I am now paying £7.50 for broadband, but I am now looking into the landline too. Suppose I join now and pay £17/month for the next 12 months - only at the £7.50 price am I on £17/month (£7.50+£9.50). Since I am not an o2 mobile customer, after a year, I will assume it will hike my internet back to £12.50 thus paying £22/month for internet and phone. There are no guarantees that o2 will offer me £7.50/month internet and thus I could be happy with my landline but want to move elsewhere with my internet.
I'm looking too far ahead probably.
