Valued opinions - worth it at the moment

Options
Hi, wondering what everyone elses opinions of valued opinions are - they seem to take a lot of info before they decide you are not suitable - previously I would get through quite a bit of screening, but over the past months I think I have been sent about 10 surveys and not qualified for any of them

I signed up about 2 months ago, and have earned about 20 quid.

I emailed about the fact their vouchers took a while to arrive, and mine turned up the next day:D.

Just wondered how you'd managed this much in two months, thats all I've mad in a year and I respond to all they send me. Have had a lot of non-eligible ones recently though which is really frustrating when you'v already answered quite a few questions.

ive been a member for ages and had hardly any surveys.......the ones i did get i wasnt eligable for

i think it all depends on whether you are in a 'common' group or not.......IYSWIM....
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

  • Recently I've gotten quite a way into a couple of their surveys and given out some fairly personal information, only to be told I was ineligible. I emailed them to complain and received this reply.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience. The screening process is automated and should tell you as soon as possible if we have reached the desired number of respondents, if you do not meet the desired criteria, or your consumer habits were different from those our client was looking for. I can assure you, however, that we do not use the information you entered unless you finish the survey and are paid for doing so.

Having said that, on the one occasion I've earned enough for a voucher, it was here within 24 hours.

I never seem to qualify either but recently I have noticed if I do one staight away I usually get one a few minutes afterwards maybe they like you to do them immidiately. Saying that have only qualified to do two in the 2 months.

At the moment I'm a member of ten survey sites, so I get sent surveys nearly every day. I've been a member of Valued Opinions for quite a while as well. They rarely send any surveys and those I do get usually say I'm not elegible. It would take an awful long time to earn any money with this site.

With regard to other survey sites, I'm finding that Lightspeed Research is now much improved and I've already had £20 off them in just a couple of months, even though I havn't done all the surveys they sent me. The payments have been sent quickly with no hassle. You can choose which stores you'd like the vouchers for as well, so there's plenty of choice on how to spend your rewards.
