A silly father's Day question from me!

Hi all you lovely people,

Hubby has to work today unfortunately (rare for a Sunday) and is disappointed he can't spend time with me and the little fella (he's 4).

Soooooooooo...

We plan to get on the train into the city and surprise him at work with his pressies and card, then take him out for an early dinner when he finishes work! :D

We're both really excited as we've never done this before or even visited him at work so he'll have no idea, but I've jsut realised he'll be in his work clothes (he wears a suit). As it's a bit of a hike this side to the train and another once we get off and I'll already be lugging his pressies, my handbag and a reluctant-to-walk 4 yr old, I really don't want to have to take him a full change of clothes with me too.

So my question is will it spoil it for hubby having to go out in his work stuff? Will I need to find a way to take him some clothes along with me or am I worrying over nothing?!:rotfl:

Told you it was a silly one! :rotfl:

Thanks in advance though!

If its a suit and he has a clean job it'll be fine!
My OH is working all day today too but hes an engineer and deals with machines and solvents so I wouldn't fancy taking him out in his work gear lol

It sounds like a great idea and I hope he likes the surprise!

Wouldn't bother me at all - it's not like he will be wearing greasy overalls, he'll look smart in a suit.

    You're worrying over nothing.

Have a lovely afternoon - sounds a really thoughtful idea.

That's a coincidence. I've had to work in the office in the city today which is not usual. I'm going to miss Fathers' Day at home with my 4 yr-old so I'm planning to leave work early and surprise wife & son by getting home early.;)
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
