Car Boot Basics

Hi everyone
I thought there may be a Sticky on the basics of Car Boots.
I've never been to one before but visited our local one this morning to get some ideas.
I've got some things to sell that are decent quality i.e. some unused toys, DVDs, books etc. all in 'nearly new' or 'new' condition. They're not worth listing on eBay because there are so many already on there and they don't sell for much.
Is there anything I should know before booking a space at the car boot?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks.

Just accept that stuff goes for peanuts at a car boot. I was selling CDs yesterday for 10p each which was a bit daft as I had decided that the 30p that Music Magpie were offering was too little. Modern hardback books were going for 10p, I couldn't even give Mills and Boon books away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
