should i download google chrome toolbar

Thanks to the great advice on here, i have uninstalled avg and installed avast, changed my email provider to gmail and gone into statup and unticked a load of boxes so my computer is running a lot better now.:j I am getting asked quite a lot to install google chrome toolbar. Should i do this, and what bennfit would it be. Seem to have quite a bit of space taken up with toolbars already.

Unless im missing something lately. I dont think there is such a thing. Do you not mean just GOOGLE CHROME which is a browser? In which case, no, its not required.

How many toolbars have you got installed, i dont see the need for the yahoo, ask or any of the other toolbars really

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)
