Hi all.Last night I cooked something in a pan on one of the rings on my induction hob.But it has left this horrible white smudgy looking stain all over it.Nothing seems to get it out and I'm slightly worried. The stain isn't an abrasive one,it seems to be under the service.Has anyone had any experience with this or knows what could remove this stain?
Many thanks.Josh

Apologies.Of course I meant to say 'hob' and not 'job' in the title.0

I've not heard of anything like this, sorry - but I'd definitely advise contacting the manufacturer to see what they say about it. Could it be a fault, perhaps?0

I use spray glass cleaner and it takes off pretty much everything. Or you could try hot white spirit vinegar, leave to act then wipe off with a soft cloth. That is supposed to work on rings and traces of limescale etc.Herman - MP for all!

Lakeland do a hob scraper. It's a blade in a plastic handle and I use it on my glass electric (but not induction) hob. It tales off all those cloudy stains that won't come off using elbow grease..
