WARNING: Nvidia display driver.

Options
OK, tonight i download the newest display driver from nvidia uk.
the most recent driver is dated 15/06/2010 257.XX international driver.

after a troublesome intallation (previous driver removed and restarted before new one) i wanted to set up my 3d graphics for call of duty modern warfare 2 under manage 3d settings-program setting-add program when the dialog box came up i went into steam-steamapps-common-and selected iw4mp.exe when i clicked add the drop down baox its suppose to go in to manage the 3d setting for the program went blank i tried a few times and still no joy obvoius bug by nvidia that needs sorting.

played codmw2, temps went through the roof with my 9800gtx on 100% fan speed, i had FPS drops in close combat scenes wich ended makeing the game unplayeble, i tried the game in single player and it happens there also, after 20mins play i had iw4sp.exe is not responding. when going from game to steam skin overlay i have no cursor (1360X768 resolution).

in powerdvd10 the video's are pixelated when playing from DVDROM,
no matter how much i adjust the resolution or player size its allways pixellated.
when going from full screen to window powerdvd10 freezes for about 7 seconds and the film starts from begining. i also had to adjust RGB and saturation as the films started in yellow and doenst save RGB and saturation profile so when shutting down power dvd and restarting it will start a film in yellow!.

the driver no longer supports my old game JOINT OPERATIONS, fails to load game from server location game crashes.

ALT+TAB out of any game it will either crash, fail to set default resolution on resuming full screen or no sound!.

i cant beleive this got microsoft certified, its obviously still in BETA condition!

poor driver for the older gen cards, stick to 192.XX drivers.

have reverted back to previous driver and temps are 10OC down at idle and all above have corrected themselfs.
