Congratulations Annie, thats great news.
Must be a nice feeling. I'll be owning my car too at xmas, a year earlier than loan length.

Thanks dinky,
It makes driving her (don't know why its a her but women always seem to work harder, don't they) so much better.
Shopped around for the insurance today. Saved a massive £413.36 on confused.com. Will be swapping sometime this month.

All cars are female, same as boats - they just are
Mine is called Chloe (it's a Clio), my last car was Bessie (it was black, and a cow :rotfl: ) and my mum's is Bella (because the shade of purple is called belladonna)No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

When I told my former boss that it had sailed through its mot and didn't need any work he was amazed. Told me he had never had it serviced or mot'd without needing something done. Funnily enough, he asked me where I had had the MOT done and asked whether they serviced his make of car!!!
Couldn't imagine managing without my wee darling. Can't bear the thought of having to replace her some time in the future.
Just saw your thread - it proves that there are STILL some really decent people out there - even though they appear to be a dying breed in this computerised age, where personal integrity often counts for nothing.
Really happy for you.

My first car was a horrible beige coloured Fiat Uno I named Monty, never named another car after that for some reason
If I was to name the Citroen AX I have now I'd name it "Nackers", as if it was a horse it would have gone to the knackers yard years ago :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 126 :j
