Why? Feedback is optional. I don't buy and sell for Feedback.
Then you obviously don't understand the concept of ebay :p;)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

  • But surely feedback's a bit of a farce anyway? It's not feedback when the only option you have is to tick a box marked 'positive' even if the experience was far from it.

Feedback or no feedback, the message does look rude. A simple "Sorry, I don't participate in the feedback scheme" would have done. You could always simply ignore such requests?

I nearly always leave feedback, as a seller when my buyers pay. If buyers don't want to leave feedback I wouldn't message asking for it, I figure if there's something wrong I'll soon know.
As a buyer I only leave feedback after the seller's left it for me, if they wait for mine first, they'll be waiting a long time. I've completed my side of the transaction first, so if they're interested in participating in the FB system they need to go first.
I don't think that I could be bothered with emailing explaing that though.

Sorry to bump, but I thought I'd say I'd taken the posts from here onboard and actually tried a similar message.
    I don't do feedback sorry.

    I also don't discuss why I don't do feedback.

    But this didn't work.
Would it be because ur a t***? dont buy from people then!
I've also had abuse for simply ignoring which is why I tried the message thing in the first place.

Ah well, back to ignoring I guess. :undecided

I would and do you can get bargains as everyone else is avoiding them. You just have to take educated risks.
