1. This competition ‘Get Rid of Me’ (the “Competition”) is open to anyone aged 18 or over, no matter where in the world they live. This Competition is organised by Go Travelling Ltd t/a On the Go Tours (the “Organiser”)
2. You (the “Entrant”) may enter the Competition by signing up using your Facebook login or by creating a special login for the Competition (“Registering”).
3. You may also nominate entrants to the Competition. Nominees will be notified of their nomination by e-mail. Click here for details.
4. Once Registered, Entrants may upload a video submission and reasons why they feel people should vote for them (“The Case”).
5. The Case must not contain any material that might be considered offensive in nature for viewing in a public forum. The Case must also not breach any copyright laws and must be the original material of the Entrants.
6. The Organisers accept no responsibility whatsoever for any breach by Entrants of Clause 5 above. In addition, any breach of Clause 5 above by an Entrant will result in their disqualification from the Competition and their Case removed from the Competition website.
7. To promote their Case, Entrants can e-mail, facebook and twitter their Competition profile easily through the tools provided on the website for the Competition.
8. Anyone can vote for Entrants to the Competition. The more votes an Entrant gets, the higher their chances of winning the Competition i.e. it is a lottery system
9. You enter the Competition as an individual, but prize for the winner is a 6 month global adventure with On the Go Tours for 2 people (“The Prize”). The winner of the competition (the “Winner”) will elect the person they wish to travel with them for 6 months (the “Jammy”). More details of the Prize are available here. In summary, all flights, tour arrangements, tourist visas, vaccinations and travel insurance required to travel to the countries detailed in the Prize are included. In addition to a daily breakfast and some meals, a weekly cash allowance of ￡100 (or equivalent) will be provided for the Winner. Any other expenditure items not detailed within these Terms and Conditions will be the responsibility of the Winner and Jammy
10. The Prize cannot be transferred to anyone else and cannot be redeemed for cash value or alternative travel arrangements. By accepting the Prize, the Winner and Jammy agree to the following:
10.i) to send a daily tweet (through the Organisers’ Twitter page) and upload a weekly video journal/blog to the Organisers’ website(s), Facebook page(s) and other online promotional mediums, while travelling through the countries included in the Prize. Cameras compatible with U-tube will provided to the Winner and Jammy. 10.ii) to the use of their names, photograph, tweets and video journals for advertising and publicity purposes ad infinitum and without any compensation.
11. The Organisers reserve the right to retract the Prize and re-claim any or all monies spent by the Organisers on the Prize should the Winner and Jammy not meet their obligations in Clause 10 above.
12. Privacy for all Entrants is very important to us. No details submitted through Registration for the Competition will be shared with any 3rd parties. Further, all login information (Facebook or other) is fully encrypted and cannot be accessed by any employee of the Organisers.
13. Entry to the Competition closes on 30 September 2010. The winner will be announced on or before 31 October 2010. The Winner must respond and accept the Prize within 5 calendar days from the date the Winner is announced. Failing this, the Organisers’ may draw another Winner to the Competition from all remaining Entrants.
14. All Entrants their acceptance of these terms and conditions by Registering for the Competition
15. All Intellectual Property, Materials, Designs and Copyright are the exclusive property of the Organisers.
16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

This is a fantastic competition. At the moment, it looks as if there is a Russian lady in the lead with about 6000 votes. I don't think I stand a chance in trying to catch up with her, but am going to have a go. If you are not entering, I would really appreciate it if you would vote for me at:
