Paypal & Germany

Does anyone know how it works, I have a buyer who has paid with paypal but it is pending via bank transfer. Ebay sent me an email upon closure of sale and have stated it is the sellers responsibility to finalise the payment.

Anyone had this?? thought ide ask here before going into the german/english translate thing.

Hey CP - I have had something similar to this, called an e-cheque? It took aggges to clear! I think it was over 2 weeks, but it finally did. Whatever you do don't send the goods until the money clears. Once it does all should be fine.

I must stop agreeing with you JPS! yes this seems like an e cheque and like JPS my experience of them has been that they take an age to clear, I think my last one was about 10 working days as well.

Just let the buyer know that you will wait to receive the payment before shipping goods.

Germany is a minefield for payment, they have totally different laws to us, you will also see that in most cases German registered users don't show feedback either, it is against their privacy laws.
