Working Tax Credit application

Hi there
I am not speaking about myself here but about my father and mother.
My father works more than 30 hours a week and my mother has been retired for 3 years.
They have just been awarded some working tax benefit, although my question is have they taken my mothers basic state pension and work pension(not much) into account?
They have told me they put the pension into the other income part of the form when filling it in.
on the total income area of the award for it says the income for Mrs cox is 0 and Mr Cox is £££££
then further down total income takes into account the pension, so I am wondering if this is correct or not
sorry if its not clear just need a little help over here
I am wary of ringing them incase they have to go through another process of form filling etc as has happened before
hope someone can help

although the pension income is paid to your mother it wouldnt appear next to her name, only employment, self employment or benefit income would appear next to her name, the other income box includes other income from either applicants, aslong as the total income takes it into account then everything is fine.0
