Felt like a rant after getting a letter from Streamline saying their charges are going up by 0.8% (25% approx)for every credit card used by customers. Not a lot on the face of it but it will add many pounds to a small shops already high bank charges. I suppose someone has to pay for the bank bosses bonuses. So if you see prices going up soon don't blame the government for all of it.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

If you look to the 'Latest MSE News' on the right, you will see an article on this very subject.

Or maybe they have to pay for all the fraudulent transactions and people defaulting?0 -

I own a small mail order company that has a few webshops and ebay, so we 'use' PayPal for those, We are now setting up a retail type shop for customers to visit. We looking for the 'best value' card processing company for phone and personal card transactions. Can anybody recommend a decent company.
Thanks
