Montenegro

Apparently, (!) Montenegro is the new property hotspot of the universe, and all the property investors who have no idea what they're doing should rush off to buy there straight away, to make enough money to have all their teeth replaced with gold ones before christmas.

It IS the new Bulgaria!

Is it just me, or are people getting a tad needy for their property investment fix?!

Then again Beeny and her Benny babies are doing a new TV prog on foreign shirt losing...i mean property "investment"

  • There is another Montenegro.

Nestling in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Spain there is a little settlement 30m walk from my village which has a population of eight. Four are German, two are English and two are Spanish; three-quarters of its residents are 'film stars';) . It has a cluster of houses and a chapel and is surrounded by steep fields of crops, a lunar-type landscape and terrific views. You can walk (or drive, if you are brave) along a steep dirt mule-track from my village, past our village cemetery, via Montenegro and its chapel and down to another village and its cemetery.

We always frighten our guests by driving them along the single-track dirt road (with a sheer drop on one side) and tell them not to worry, there is a cemetery at both ends and a church in the middle.

I presume it's the other Montenegro you mean which is the property hotspot?

    (Sorry....couldn't resist it).;) ;) :rotfl:

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Allegedly, although yours sounds like a much better place frankly.

Watch out for a confused looking Kirsty and Phil, or their low rent clones, turning up on your doorstep wondering where in them hills be their fortune
