Hi all,

We were broken into early April, we have now been paid out, so we are looking to replace the tomtom that went, as well as a lot of other things,

We had the tomtom xl Europe, can anyone recommend which tomtom to go for now, we need Europe with travelling to Spain, looking at the £200ish mark

I found this one

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-LIVE-.../dp/B002LZUD68

any comments greatly received
Thanks
Jayne

I had a 720 before it went kaput and replaced it with the 940 Live. The best feature is definitely being able to tell the unit the address using voice rather than tapping in.

Be aware of the renewal cost of the LIVE service. Mine ran out in October last year and I haven't bothered to renew it.

Here you go , save yourself £104 http://www.totalpda.co.uk/TomTom/TomTom-XL-v2-EU-Refurbished.7991.html

I had the same problem as yourself after getting my XL EU stolen i bought a GO910 from here and really pleased with it, can't see how it is refurbished, looks like new to me. GO910 out of stock now though

I had my Tomtom stolen 4 weeks ago. Got a Nokia 5800 and Nokia provide Ovi Maps for free. Its close enough to Tomtom that I've not bothered even contemplating replacing it.

Thank you for all your replies,

I like the idea of the voice command, so think I will go for the 750

    Thanks again

We got a refurbished Tomtom Go920 from the official Tomtom site, has maps for US and Europe on it, cost in the region of £145 iirc. Screens always get replaced during refurbishment, it looks like new. For all we use it, it was a great buy.:)
