Has Ebay changed??

Hi fellow ebayers,

I used to do a small amount of ebaying some clothes and things but havent done it for ages and was gonna put some things on. When i went to relist some things there was a funny notification thing about the item condition existing and now? and charging me for an <99p item since it had been relisted as not sold before.

Are these part of the new changes? that a relisted 99p item will cost now and something about condition, new, new other? and used.

Any other changes/price changes i should be aware about before listing?

TIA

If you are a private seller and have not reached your 100 limit then your item should have been free to list. Double check that yiu were actually charged by going into your main account details.

The condition has always been there, they just insist you use it now as a few sellers 'accidentally' forgot to mention something was used and gave the impression it was new. By indicating condition clearly the buyer and the seller both understand what is being sold.

  • When i went into multiple relist-of my two items which i had listed a few months ago and hadnt sold it came up as charging me at the bottom you know where it gives you a breakdown before you list.

However when i went into them separately it let me list the items for 0.00 (they were both 99p)

It did charge me for listing in two categories so i took the 2nd category off.

Regarding condition when i went to multiple relist it told me the condition i had selected previously (used) and then asked me for existing condition now....still used. This didnt happen in individual relist...

Doing it this way could be quite time consuming if you have more than a few items to relist....

yep i am a private seller and only listed these two items in the past ages so nowhere near the 100 limit listings

  • You should be able to list in two categories for free when listing at 99p.

I have had the query over condition thing come up on individual listing (haven't done any multiple relisting since the change) so don't know why it didn't come up on that [STRIKE]occasion[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]ocassion[/STRIKE], oh rats, at that time. ;)

Sorry not to be more help, I'm afraid it's just one of those ebay anomolies that we have to put up with. :wall:
