please can someone help me the Mcafee company have taken £44.99p out of my account without my permission i must have emailed them 6 times to get this money back because they have no right to it when they took it out of my bank it left my account short so now i have extra bank charges. Mcafee have ignored every email i have sent them ive been trying to get it back for 2 weeks now but they say in their literature that people can have a refund if they apply within 30 days and im desparate now.
your help would be invaluable. i feel like ive been robbed, i dont even use mcafee.:money::(

Me thinks this could be yet ANOTHER case of someone not reading the T&C's properly...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

The OP states that she doesnt use McAfee. It might be that someone has cloned her debit card ?
Anyway OP, you really need to contact your bank as quickly as possible.
Also I don't recommend sending e mails to any company if you need them to do something urgently, you need to be pro-active, forceful and persistent. Call them, get a name, agreee what they are going to do and by when, and then confirm this in writing to them posting it using trackable mail. If they do nothing by the deadline, make a follow-up call and if still nothing send a trackable letter to a senior manager, director, CEO etc. E mails just don't cut it.
Good luck - let us know how you get on.

OP have you bought a new PC/laptop with the limited free version or downloaded the 90 day free trial. Often the Ts&Cs will automatically charge you if you do not cancel within the trial period....you must have some idea of how they got hold of your bank details and if not I would urgently get the card stopped and investigated0
