Change business account to individual?

I've just noticed that my account is classed as a business account when I am not a business. I have searched the help pages on ebay but it just tells me how to change an individual account to a business account and not the other way round. Is it possible to change it at all?

No unfortunately you can't, mine for some reason became a business acct some time ago, I think maybe when my acct was hijacked. I didn't notice until last year & then had to open another personal one. I've left the business one open though as I will pluck up the courage to start trading.0

It's a shame really, I've got decent feedback on my account but to sell DVDs (which is what I'm trying to get rid of at the moment) it will cost me 5p to list whereas on an individual account it would be free

Ooh while I think about it - if I set up a new account, can I link it to my paypal account or does it have to be a new paypal account too?Mummy to Oliver - 28/10/09

You can link any number of ebay accounts to your paypal account.0

Your paypal account is fine with it. I had nearly 1000 + fb so was gutted when I realised, I'd never been a business. My account got hacked & ebay noticed before me & in a 24 hour period I think it was they had run up hundreds of pounds of listing fees so I'm not sure if they had changed it to a business account.
Some people do put on their listings that they aren't new but have been id etc, & to check out the feedback. I don't know if there is any rule that says you aren't allowed to do this.0
