Business Account with bad credit rating?

My credit report currently has 5 defaults on it but in 2 will expire in August so will go down to 3.

I applied for a business account late last year (when my credit report had 9 defaults  and got rejected (no suprise really) but do you think I'll have a higher chance of getting an account now?

Can anyone suggest an account I should look at? I was thinking of Santander/Abbey because they offer free business banking. Any thoughts would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance

RBS/NatWest do a business account for people in this position it is called their Foundation Account and you can find it on their website. You may have to be declined their regular business bank account before you get one but if you google "foundation account rbs" (or natwest) the impression is given anyone can have one.

I personally wouldnt hold your breath... banks have gone extremely stricked with business accounts....and with the forcast that things are going to get tougher before they get better, people with a good credit rating are going to find it tougher...

Thanks, I'll look at that. Would it matter that 2 of my defaults are from Natwest?
