Help! Everytime I forward emails to a friend, he can't open them and gets div id="hide-me coming up - I send the same emails to other people and they can open them OK. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks!

What software/website does your friend have to view emails?0

Hi! As far as I know, he's using Outlook Express - but I'll try to contact him to confirm. Thanks for helping0

Ask your friend to try this:
In Outlook Express click on Tools->Options->Read and uncheck the "Read all messages in plain text" option. Click Apply, OK and then close Outlook and reopen it.0 -
You're a star - and so is your son - please say thank you so much to him. I've emailed the advice to my friend - not sure when he will pick it up as he's not quite as obsessed with his emails as I am.
Thanks again and fingers crossed it works:j0 -
yeah you can set the read / send message as "plain text" or "as HTML"0

Hi
No, sorry, not sorted! After several emails between us, he is using Internet Explorer and going to the Tiscali website to retrieve his emails. Any ideas?
Thanks lots:rotfl:0 -

Instead of this, the OP should SEND it as plain text. This way it can be read by any email program.0 -

Do you know which version of Internet Explorer? If he is still using IE6 it could be that, he should upgrade to IE8 or even a different browser like Firefox or Google Chrome.
The only other thing we can suggest is to contact Tiscali about it.
Hope this helps0
