Has anyone any recommendations on the above ? - have visited PC World and asked their suggestions and they (he) immediately suggested either the Kodak 3250 at £80 or for the extra £20 and quite a few extra features - the ESP5250PP. He based it on quality, inexpensive cartridge prices, and value for money. Has anyone any comments for or against his suggestion ? I was looking for a fax combo but for the little useage it would get then I believe there is a way of using my PC as a fax (to receive incoming messages basically as understand can scan and forward to a fax machine otherwise).

I find PC world sometimes a bit expensive. Look on amazon first as PC world did a price guarantee - not sure if they still do. Good reviews do tend to be on there.
Personally I use an epson all in one. Non compatible cartridges are very cheap too. I personally bought mine for around 50 pounds (maybe 55?) at tesco.0 -
For my low usage requirements I bought a HP All in One on Ebay for £12. The seller also gave me 3 unopened ink cartridges.
