hi all i'm looking for a bit help if you can. I start uni this September as a mature student. All was going well with SLC until my partner lost her job. For10 weeks I kept being told that I didn't need to send her income details in, just complete a current year income assessment. However I called to chase it and was told that I did indeed need to send it in. We have now sent this information in, however my loan has now been approved waiting signature at the base levels. Does anyone know if this will change when they get round to processing her info? SLC are saying that they have received her forms but my account is still sitting at awaiting signature.

I think you just need to keep an eye on your account, they seem to change the status of your application fairly randomly in my experience. I've just checked mine, (3rd year), which shows as approved but isn't yet appearing in my account. However it is important to remember that when you receive your confirmation letter you need to take it to your university at least the week before payment, as if they don't confirm receipt of this you won't get paid on time.
