I don't think there is such a thing as a bagel maker (though I could be wrong). Certainly you don't need a specific bagel maker to make bagels, they're a sort of boiled bread. I think they might be a bit of a bind to make though since I don't know anyone who makes their own despite having a Jewish mother. I found a recipie here though. Hope that helps.0
