Was thinking of going to RIAT this year, take the kids along etc, but £75 for to adult tickets is a bit steep. Does anyone know if theres anywhere else you can get them from thats cheaper?
i have done a few try and win tickets on line, but if im not lucky that way, will have to buy them.
Any ideas would be very much appriciated.
thanks

My husband enjoys the air shows, but we have never been able to find cheaper tickets, you can save afew pounds by buying them before the actual day either online or from tourist information centres.

yer, they use to be like that, but its advance tickets only now, so have to pay for them before hand so dont get to save anything any more.
Its becoming an expensive day out now, but whats going this year, i really want to go, and take our little boy as well as he would love it.0 -
I think you can save a few pounds with an early booking around March IIRC but not now.
It's a fabulous day out though, and exhausting too.
This year looks great...

We live just up the road from the airbase and there are a couple of farms around here that do a 'park and view' - you can't get onto the airfield but for a fee of around £10 you can park your car, see all the flying and get the commentary on the Wings FM radio. It's not a bad way to do it if you have little kids as the airfield is quite exposed and difficult to get out of either very hot or very wet weather. They are reasonably well sign posted from the A419 there is one at a place called Furzey Hill Farm usually.0
