I have got a 20gb iPod Video, and have seen the XOOM software in PC world to convert DVDs to whatever format it needs to be for the iPod.
Has anyone else converted DVDs onto their iPod video? What is the best (idiot proof!) way to do it!! Im useless with these kinda things!

I wouldn't pay for it when there are lots of free software out there.
I use somthing called Super from eRight software

By far the simplest is Clone DVD Mobile but it's not free - $39. You can download a trial version for 21 days before use. Just google Slysoft for the link.
You will also need to remove protection from your disks - try Any DVD from Slysoft for this.
