My work are selling off their old PCs and i was after a bit of advice as to whether it is worth it or not.
The P.C.'s have an Intel P4 processor, 256Mb ram and 40Gb Hard drives, with 15" tft monitor
they are going for £146.87 inc VAT.
any advice appreciated!

Does that include software?
Windows XP Home is about £100 (OEM version - no support from Microsoft if you have problems.)
If you want an Office suite Openoffice is a good free alternative to Microsoft Office.
You might want to increase the RAM to 512MB0 -
