Scottish Hydro Don't Listen
I moved into my new house 14 April and despite contacting Scottish Hydro 4 times now they have still not sent me account details nor a bill. Each time i give them my meter readings (gas + elec). Each time they will send me a bill within 10 days. Same again today - any suggestions on what to do to actually pay my bloody bill (only worried that it might be a sky rocket of a bill)?

I would earmark some for them given previous bills you have had and what you estimate it might be. At least it is in your account not theirs for a bit longer!Torgwen..........

Hello Greytroot,
I'm in a similar situation as you. I moved my account to Scottish Hdro on 19th April and only received my bill on 25/08. This was grossly overestimated - so I phoned them up and after waiting for 20 mins to be answered, they confirmed that the bill should not have been sent out because the meter was read by them a month earlier. They are now sending me a revised bill. So far, I have not received it.
From what you say and my own experience, their admin is very poor. My billing period is upto 25/07 but received the bill 1 month later.0
