  • We're not veggies but do eat meatless meals at least 4 times a week. I've never tried quorn or TVP, and I think tofu is expensive so this menu is for 'everyday' foods.

Monday Pathfinder pudding (a suet pudding filled with root veg and cheese, a wartime recipe), veg and gravy or cheese sauce.

Tuesday Lentil flan, salad and baked potatoes.

Wednesday Mushroom/cheese omelettes, salad and crusty bread

Thursday Chickpea and veg curry, rice and cucmber raita

Friday Pizza (topped with a tomato sauce also containing as many other veg as I can get away with and mozzarella)

Saturday Bean stew and rice or baked spuds, veg

Sunday Bulghur pilaff with halloumi cheese, salad

    Hope that helps someone:)
  • We aren't veggie but some of our favourite veggie meals are different lasagnes from the Rose Elliott Pasta book eg brie and broccoli; red onion and goats cheese; cheddar, ricotta and sweetcorn - we have these with salad and HM garlic focaccia (pizza setting on the BM)

  • Can someone provide lentil ideas including how to prep them?
