XD memory card, type H or M or M/H?

I have been asked to get a XD card for my daughters photography course but I don't know which type.

I have seem them in Type M/H, is this going to work with the school cameras? I don't know the make. Should I wait till next week to be sure or is this type of memory card VERY likly to work?

I'd wait without knowing the actual camera. Some of the xD cards are not compatible with older cameras (not sure if schools would use old or new ones)
