Stitching witch, sorry to hear your job's still horrid
And you rachel. So disspiriting to go to work every day hating it
Picasso! I cannot imagine ANYONE paying over £300 for a pair of shoes! (mind you, it's been a very long time since I'v paid £50 for a pair!) :rotfl:
Day going ok here. Went to the hospital, looks like my graves disease symptoms are returning...
Not enough for medication just yet, but I'm going back in 4 weeks, when it will probably have tipped over the edge. On beta blockers in the meantime to calm anxiety etc - I suppose at least this explains why I've been so grumpy and stressed the last couple of weeks! :rotfl: Still, some not very pleasant decisions to make re treatment etc - bleurgh.
Anyway, got some stuff done at least:
* read gas meter
* [STRIKE]post father's day card and wedding rsvp[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]hospital[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]order advance train tickets for w*rk on Monday saving £1.15[/STRIKE] :j
* [STRIKE]pick up van from garage[/STRIKE]
* voluntary work emails/phone calls
* cheery run (free exercise)
* [STRIKE]surveys[/STRIKE]
* sew lining in home made skirt :T
* next stage in bathroom DIY
* put gloss paint on stairs
* water garden
* [STRIKE]phd stuff[/STRIKE]
* 1 hour transcribing work
* [STRIKE]check online bank[/STRIKE]
Feeling a little sorry for myself today, so taking it easy. Meant to be trotting out tonight to play Rock Star Girlfriend at Mr Daffs' band gig, so might finish and wear my new skirt, which will be nice! :T0 -
Happy birthday OliveOyl! Hope you have had a great day
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one! :mad:
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

Hello :hello:
Hope everyone is well, I am on the countdown back to normality, got 8-1's to do next week and then I can start doing my own hours :T and try and get into a routine! Each day I start at 5am and then 2 days I finish by 11am, 2 days I finish by 9am so plenty of time to do bits in the day before collecting kidlets from school
Today I have:- Checked banking - payday, moved money about.
- Checked pigsback
- Went out to lunch with OH but used the voucher to get a main for £1
- Bought DS some clothes but used OH £10 voucher that he got from work as recognition
- Bought DD a bike (she saved up £45 herself!) from Halfords for £79.99 in the sale
- Used lots of free texts and internet

I have a Janome too - an MC6600P. I needed to buy a professional machine as I would easily burn out the motor on a domestic machine by making corsets - it's tough work, but someone has to do itWhat sort of machine do you have? Just curious. I have 2 (the janome decor excel without power cable - can't afford to replace right now
and a lidl's machine - no embroidery stitches - that I got in my 'sewing machine fixation' in the winter - but it works fine. Lidl's machines are also called Lervia; victoria and silvercrest I believe but they're good

Hello :j
I haven't managed to post for the last few days because it has been hellish at work - thank god it is Friday :T
(((Hugs))) to cheery, and hope you feel better soon. Impressed by the skirt and being a rock star girlfriend though
Miss P - hello, haven't heard from you for ages :j
Stitching witch - sorry you hate your job. I hope you achieve your dream of starting your own business - you sound really talented :T
Today I have:
Spent the day at a meeting that was so boring that I really had a job to stay awake :eek:
Managed to get £5 of change together so that I could use the cheaper car park at the station :eek:
Free (boring) lunch at said boring meeting
Did a you gov survey - one of the prize draw ones, which I will blatantly not win :mad:
HM supper, omelettes made with our chickens' eggs, home grown potatoes, lettuce, beetroot and cucumber
I also have a few raspberries and strawberries for pud with a bit of ice cream in a minute :T
That's about it for me - I'm shattered!
Have a nice evening, and enjoy the football if you are watching. I notice OH has put it on, so probably my cue to do the crossword in the free paper I picked up in London today
