Halifax Reward account

Hello,
I'm holding three Halifax Reward accounts - to be honest the main purpose is because of the monthly reward of £5.
Although it is possible to circulate £1,000 within those accounts I prefer to pay in the money from outside (namely, Lloyds TSB
as they pay 4% interest) and then pay it out right afterwards. Of course I'm using faster payment.
Now, my concern is that Halifax is sooner or later decides to kick out those customers who do not use the reward accounts
as their main banking accounts but rather as a source of obtaining the monthly reward (such as me).
Well, I'm currently thinking of how to make the transactions on my account look more as it is being used as main banking account.
Do you think creating extra direct debits would help?
What else can you think of would help to make that appearance?
Or maybe you think my concern is unjustified and I don't have to do anything about it?
Thanks!

I would say you are 100% right and need to invent a usage for each account.
Perhaps get a halfax CC on one.
What have you got to lose its been free £5 so far.
I,m going to try flat bills, van bills, holidays and umm hell ,pub fund or something hopefully more believable.
It will require some innovation and as long as it ties up less than £1500 on each account its winning at a equivalent 5% gross for £60 a year.0 -
Hi
My reward account has a £5.00 standing order which goes to my savings account. Might use it to pay my rent or Council Tax.

The Ringwood Halifax agency isn't doing this £100 offer. Anyone know if the full branch at Salisbury is doing it?0
