Sort out your shopping habits, seems like thats a real issue here, you can save for weeks and weeks but whats the point if you are going to cave in on a whim and blow all that hard work?

No more clothes, no more daily takeaways (maybe every weekend as a treat)

£50 is enough to feed a family for a week, let alone a lone person

the dla backdate payed for them clothes, shoping is a bit of a issue though

i like to have a fridge and frezzer stocked up incase i have a flare up like iam now thats been going on for 3 weeks but iam in the house nearly all day everyday so that does cost more, the takeaway i will try on it is £10 a time

Back pay or not that could have been better spent paying off something owing. But that is not the issue here, and the reason I suggested changing one thing at a time, is like the previous poster said, you don't seem the type of person that will change and adapt over night. Paying off debts is a long hard process, and the little triumphs along the way help dramatically.

Right I don't want to be too harsh here, but....I'm sorry to hear that you have health problems physical or mental, they are never nice and are hard to deal with. However whilst people on here will help and sympathise with you, a credit card company won't. They don't care, they want their money with interest.

You need to tackle this head on. A lot of people have bad days and want to treat themselves, however self control is needed. £350 on clothes is inexcusable as is takeaway everynight, these are very expensive luxuries and are going to lure you into further debt - you need to take people's advice on board and find a way of changing, maybe not completely but enough to keep you from spending money to make yourself feel better.

It might seem childish, but set up a chart with the debt you owe, then every time you don't have a take away, you can lower it by the money you saved. Use this to look forward to, and reward yourself for every £100 you pay off.

I don't want to sound like I know best or you should do this/that, but if you are serious on curbing your debt, you will have to cut back on the good stuff.
    Today's Debt:
    B/Card = £6,410 F/D = £3,190
    Loan = £0 Woohoo!
    Total Debt = £9500
    Debt as of 26-1-11:
    Total Debt = £14,325

    Hi All!!

Well, I am just looking for some help.
I've been looking all around the web to find a cheap unsecured loan but as I don't know anything about it am lost now.

I just need £600 to pay of some bills. The thing is that I would like to pay it off monthly and no more than a £100. I would like to go for a maximum of 1 year.

    Somebody can please help me??!

    Thanks, God bless you all!

    Hello,

I suggest you post this in another forum and create another thread. This isn't related to this thread, really.

    Thanks,
    Just another dumbass with money...:D
