Unless someone else can explain this, I can't see any reason why the two things could be connected.0

OTOH, if it's something O2 can and has done, why would they?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I will be highly surprised if this is really the case. As far I know these network can't defined boundry of ur home.
It could be a temperory issue with signal at your home.
early this week i dropped my phone and then i realised there is no signal
i went to every window but no joy. my phone was picking up signal properly. I thought my phone is gone for toss.
Then I took battery off my phone and started again and it worked perfectly.
I suggest you try removing out battery for couple of minutes just in case if this is issue.
what about other sim (o2 network) on your phone or ur sim in another phone. Worth a try0
