If I lived on the Gulf Coast and my livelihood was threatened I'd be pretty p'd off too. For that matter, Mexican fishermen are also concerned about the spill as a change in the weather system will take the oil there. When Buncefield went up, the then PM didn't even bother to visit the town, even though it was only sheer luck that many weren't killed or seriously injured. Joy of joys, we got sent Prescott. What's worse, a President who uses the situation for his own gain or a PM who can't be arsed? America is a huge and complex country with lots of people with hugely differing opinions. Why paint them all with the same brush?

I bet they pay a fair amount of taxes in USA and russia, etc Alot of governments are concerned hopefully

On June 18th, total oil recovered was approx. 24,500 barrels:

• approx. 14,400 barrels of oil were collected,
• approx. 10,100 barrels of oil were flared,
• approx. 47.4 million cubic feet of natural gas were flared.

It's all Obama's revenge...that's all! Sarah Palin's husband is a big shot BP guy and I'm sure BP donated to the Mcain presidential campaign...or at least supported it!

The big issue is the that fact that Oil is too cheap...and still undercuts the climate change fraud alternative expensive energy! And why is Oil cheap? Because quite simply there is a lot of it in supply and supply still outstrips demand and will do so for many years (100s) to come! This stuff in the Gulf of Mexico (as bad as it is) is being used by Obama/Gore to show us all the light on just how bad oil is...give me a break!
