Please help - is anyone online to help with an Ubuntu problem? I tried to delete a partition and it won't now install. I have a linux live CD and I'm trying to type the "sudo fdisk" command but my keyboard refuses to type a vertical line.
Can anyone help? Please?
ETA: ~All fixed now with help from a lovely MSEr. Thank you!

There is no vertical line in 'sudo fdisk' ????Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

With most mainstream distros you shouldn't really need to use fdisk these days. If you use GPARTED, simply right-click the partition you need to check/repair, unmount it, then right-click and choose "check".
It should then check and repair any problems found.
Incidentally, what error do you get when it won't install?0 -
It's alright - all fixed now! I changed the keyboard layout to allow me to type the vertical line and the entire problem is now fixed with the help of a friendly MSE-r.
