Someone changed the road name!

When this estate was built it was called "Whitehall" (It isnt but for the benefit of this thread lets pretend). It has been called Whitehall for 40 years. However, in recent years we have started to notice mail coming to White Hall Estate. The sign at the end of the room still says Whitehall but the postcode checker shows it as White Hall Estate.

I have dug the deeds out and it clearly shows Whitehall as one word.

Of course in the big scheme of things, its not mega but is there an easy solution, there are 20 houses on the estate and those who I have spoken to have all noticed the change and want to revert back to the old name.

Any ideas what we could do to resolve this?

It's possible that somebody has informed the Royal Mail that the road name was incorrect (incorrectly!), you need to contact the Postal Address File team to see what has happened, and get them to change it back.
