Mine arrive today, small but all seem healthy! I was expecting more than a little 25cm x 15cm tray for what is meant to be 84 plants! I guess I was getting carried away/expecting too much!0

Mine arrived today as well. I must admit, I was expecting larger plants, but have to agree that the quality of the plants is excellent, they are all really healthy looking - compared to plug plants of this size from shops and garden centres.
As far as the question of frost hardiness is concerned, these are hardy plants, but they are a bit small to suddenly expose to frost. However, as pointed out, we should not get a frost for a month or so more (down south where I live anyway), so you can safely pot them up into pots or larger plugs outside and they will be strong enough to withstand frost by the time we get it.
They will do much better if you keep them outdoors from now on (in a sheltered place (i.e. out of strong wind and intense sun) rather than growing them on indoors and then putting them out when the weather is colder.
Thompson & Morgan is very good about refunds, so if you feel you are not satisfied with what you have received, I would phone them and explain your concerns and they are likely to refund you.0 -

Anyway, my top tip is make sure you follow instructions of take hold of the plant itself and gently but firmly wriggle the plugs out.
I made the mistake of fighting with them pushing them up and I've damaged some of the plants and also got peat behind my fingernails as I type.
Other method is far easier and won't damage the plants.
We always put our pansies straight out, even the spring ones. Leaving them inside results in plants that are drawn up and spindly and look useless on the sales bench.

Just wondering how this went, did everyone have a nice flowery garden in winter?0

Mine didn't flower all winter. I don't think they were the right ones. Was disappointed and went to B&Q for spring ones. Didn't bother going back for refund though!0
