My City Deals Groupons - want to use it but wont work?

Not sure if Im in the right thread but I have brought a 'groupon' from that My City Deals to use to buy a bag online. I spent £5 for a voucher code worth £25 and am trying to buy a bag that is £27.99 - but if I copy my code into the voucher box it does not take it off?

Anyone know anything about thses deals and how to use it?

If I cant work it out Il ring them tomorrow but worried the bag I wanted will sell out!

Am hoping it's not a con!

Hmmm still wont work, maybe they deduct the £25 once paid for but dont want to risk it will have to try and ring them:huh:

How did you all get the voucher? I bought it and assumed it would be emailed to me but I've not had one yet I've had links to the website to use the voucher on. Is it getting posted? I've sent them three emails and had no replies...good customer service :mad:

Hi I got it emailed to me - have used a couple of these before and once the deal shuts at 11.59pm they seem to send vouchers out by email - I had a Wagamama one that got posted out but the my bags one was an email with a voucher code on - just cant get it to deduct it:( will try and remember to ring them tomorrow see if they will do an over the phone order or tell me how to get the £25 off the bill.

So far they do have some good deals but with al the towns they cover hey must be busy?

Hope we can both get our bags sorted!

Thanks, my email doesn't have any code on at all. What a pain! I hope all the nice bags don't get sold out. This would really put me off dealing with mycitydeal again : /

Hi spoke to My Bag who say its a fault with City Deal - spoke to them and they said a lot of people were sent the wrong code or no code - basically everyone!

They will be trying to sort this next week - you can ring them on 0800 007 5719.

Just hope the bag is available! He said if not then if you speak to them by 7 days since purchase of the deal they can refund the £5 but suggested waiting to see if the code comes through early next week then trying to buy.

Everyine was very friendly and helpful - think this is a one off:)

I just had an email back from Groupon who said that they have sent all the emails and have I checked my spam box. I am really annoyed because I sent 3 emails last week and only just got a reply...without them actually resending my code to me! : ( I will phone up if they haven't sorted it by tomorrow- it is getting a bit silly now!! x

I got an email tonight saying did I try to order through the sent link to my bags - Id not had that before so looked on there and hardly any choice! Cheapest is £39 and they are all the leather type bags I hate! They say you can only order via the link.

Have replied copying in oroginal offer that says it included cross body bags, I wanted a Bench material one. Hope they get back to me on this - have said its not fair to change the rules! Said I either want to be able to order the original deal or want a refund.

Will wait and see what happens!
