People shouldnt have to resort to such tactics. Ideally.

Of course not. But I've done it and I expect plenty of others have too.

OP, if you expect to get your money back from Wonga - you need to fight them harder than that!

Your only hope is that, as it's benefit money they may have to return it (?), but I don't know the legal standpoint.

Might be worth getting in touch with FOS (others have tried this I know).

Also try Wonga again, insist on speaking to someone senior, and keep trying.

I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here! :D

hmmm i dont think sweetly asking my family will happen havnt spoken to them in 8 years have friends but none that will lend me money. I need money because i have from today 14 days to feed, and buy tobacco for myself its my benefits and now my bank is empty
The £200 was Wonga's money was it not?

You won't get anywhere with them saying its benefits money.

Why not knock on a few neighbours' doors and see if they want their windows or cars washed?

    What avatar? There isn't one.

You need to go to the top of the page and click on:

User CP > Settings and options

Then scroll down to the Thread Display Options section > Tick the box that says "Show Avatars"
