Payday Loan Problem

Hi there my first post and im crapping myself.
Basically 2 months ago i had a £200 loan from Wonga and didnt pay it back. I lost my job and went on benefits 2 weeks after getting the loan now i get £70 per week income support and went to the bank today to withdraw my income support and wonga hastaken all the money £140 now i just called the income support department and expalained that i need a crisis loan and they said i cant have one now i have no money for a fortnight is this allowed or can i get money from someone:(

    get hold of wonga and tell them it is benefits money; they should return it.

    Yet expect them to put up a fight. You borrowed the money and they want it back. Payday loans are very much bad news and they will hound you like no other to get their money back.

    Though they may return it as it is benefits money, you will need to look at self financing for a while as dont expect to see this money to returned to you in the next number of days.

    what do you need the money for?

    can you sweetly ask a firned or relative if they can do you a food package? What have you got in your cupboards?

  • hmmm i dont think sweetly asking my family will happen havnt spoken to them in 8 years have friends but none that will lend me money. I need money because i have from today 14 days to feed, and buy tobacco for myself its my benefits and now my bank is empty

    you may have to live without the baccy but I'd reckon you could sweet talk mates into providing a value bag of pasta or rice and some tins of tomatoes... It isnt pleasant but I've done it before and you can survive on 50p a day for a couple of weeks...
