Can anyone recommend a half decent cd dvd portable drive for my acer ferrari?

Reader? Writer? What will you be burning? Some drives are better at burning some things than others, and are more compatible with more brands of DVDR than others. Generally, the slimmer laptop style ones are very fussy and don't give as good quality burns as fatter desktop style ones. If I was buying one to write discs, I'd probably get a quality (but in no way expensive) desktop one and an external case for it.
If portability is key, you're probably not going to get the best quality burns, but if you're just doing data discs and backups that'll be fine.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
