American Express Platinum - Still the best???

Options
Amex Platimum moneyback tiers and rates have been changed to:
0.5% for aggregate amounts up to £3,500
1.0% for aggregate amounts from £3,501 to £10,000 and
1.5% for aggregate amounts in excess of £10,001
Has anyone worked out whether this is still the best moneyback card now?

No, it isn't. I use a combination of GE money and the Egg Money card. So I'm earning at least 1% on everything. Beats AE, hands down.

Just a quick question I'm thinking of applying for American Express card, do you get an immediate decision?

    Thanks

No. It takes around 4 weeks. Unless you already have an American Express card, then it only takes around 2 weeks.
