Hi,
We bought our HP laptop nearly a year ago now just before Windows 7 came out. We had the opportunity to upgrade to windows 7 from HP through a leaflet with the laptop when we bought it and thought why not we want to be up to date with everything.
Only one problem ever since we have we have been unable to use our printer with the laptop it just won't recognise it???
I've tried going on the HP web page for help and look at downloads but none of them seems to work. I have rung the Hp helpdesk but they won't help me as our printer is a Lexmark.
We are looking at buying a new printer as I want better quality as I'm going to print our wedding stationary but right now we can't afford to buy one. As a result from all this we are continously backing our data up (which is no problem) to put onto our other pc to print out and the whole process just takes forever!
Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Katy

Dear katy2405,
If you have the exact model number of the Lexmark Printer, then I can probably help you. Most of the time, these issues are just due to a driver installation.
I am surprised that HP did not help you, as it should not be a difficult problem to solve.
Get back to me with the model info and I will see what I can do.

Don't want to steal Simon's thunder but here is a link to download Win7 drivers.
http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=recommendedDownloads&locale=EN&productCode=LEXMARK_X3470&segment=DOWNLOAD&userlocale=EN_GB#1
But perhaps Simon knows more than I do about installing, I see on that link that it tells you to remove the printer lead and uninstall the old driver first.0 -
