How wonderful is that!!
Just been trying to phone them so i can see why, but no ones answering!
So am a little confused at the moment!
A little history, was medically discharged from the Army early this year, with a spine injury, referred to a neurosurgeon, signed off by my GP until neuro had decided what to do with me, saw neuro in March, who said I cant work as of yet, as I will put myself at a greater risk at the moment, sent for MRI in April, heard nothing for a while, numerous attempts to contact surgeon, finally managed a couple of weeks ago, told very little, just to go see him at the end of the month.
Saw GP just before this, who refused to sign me for work until neuro had made decision as to my future treatment, so signed me off for another 3 months (after a little argument between us, had enough of sitting at home doing nothing!)
Now failed my medical! How wonderful, so who do I listen to, the neuro, a qualified specialist in my injury and condition, my GP, who knows a bit about it, and knows my medical history etc... No, I have to listen to the DWP, who know sod all about my condition, injury etc...
Dont get me wrong, Id love to return to work, ive been sat at home twiddling my thumbs since Feb, its boring, I have never been out of work since I left school, but I want to return when Im in a position too, not when Im being pushed to

Did you need any help with your benefits entitlement? You do not appear to have actually asked a question.Gone ... or have I?0

Can I assume you will be appealing the decision then?*SIGH*

Do you think you are fit for work?
As much as I would love to say yes, I dont for long term at the moment. I can hardly look after my daughter for more then a few hours on my own before I need my other half to help out.
Dont get me wrong, my first reaction when i read the letter was screw it, Im getting a job, I've had more than enough of doing nothing at home, after a little reasoning from the other half I know that if I returned to any work at the moment, I wouldnt last long, before I need time off again.0 -

At the moment all work, at least until the neuro has made a decision on my future treatment.
GP signed my previous sick note stating I should be allowed to access to training etc... from DWP, but reinforced that I am not to work until neuro has decided0
