Replacing Concrete Floors

Hi, we have had a new house for about 4 weeks and are just about to start work. The first major task (i think) will be digging out the existing concrete floors and re-laying with a DPC. The house already ahs an extension so there is a a mix of floors, and levels. The report indicated there was damp in the concrete floors.
Does anyone have any idea how long it may take to dig out, and then lay the concrete floor? Just an average sized 3 bed semi really.
Thanks

our single garage floor was taken out using jack hammer and laid following day using read mix.
make sure you get a fixed price of work and tell the builder to check his depth calcs so you get volume of concrete correct, to be on safe side maybe worth ordering a bit extra.
timescale depends on how many people working...but guess its a few days work..also will be very noisy!0 -
Hope you don't mind me asking, what sort of cost does this involve, as we are considering a house, where we may need to do this! Probably only one room, as it has floor in shape of bathtub now (sunken in the middle, asphalt floor)...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
