iphone/ipod touch portable charger

Am off to Florida in a few weeks time and am looking for a couple of portable chargers for my iphone and my sons ipod touch so that we can use them for the whole flight rather than them running out halfway there!

Have googled but there are hundreds of different ones out there! Can anyone recommend one that really does work!

Most will work (more or less).

I have a mains USB charger (that works 110v-230v) that I bought from MedionShop to use with a Tevion MP3 player a couple of years ago. I took it on holiday to Mexico recently and it worked fine on the MP3 player, but would not charge my iPod Touch. I then realised that the charger could not supply enough 'juice' when the iPod Touch was switched on. When I powered down the iPod Touch, it would charge fine.

I don't know how much current (mA) is required to charge an iPod Touch when switched on, and don't know if the sellers of the chargers state their capabilities.

Just bear this in mind.;)

Sorry - didn't explain myself properly. I meant the back up chargers like these.

try doing the search in amazon I think they only do about 4 and all are good mine begins with K can't be more help not got it with me but they work great.
